About Me

A Bodywork Center for Massage Therapy is a privately owned practice operated by Beth B. Habig. Beth, a native of North Carolina, is NC certified and a licensed professional member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.  Beth graduated from Body Therapy Institute, one of the premier massage therapy schools in the country, and has been successfully practicing advanced massage therapy and bodywork within the Triangle area for over nine years. Beth is seeking certification on Advanced Myofascial Technique through the Ida Rolf Institute and has been a teacher of Kinesiology, Sports and Advanced Therapeutic massage at Miller Motte College.   She specializes in blending different massage and bodywork modalities, and performs them with compassion and presence, all for your specific needs using an intuitive approach combined with the client's knowledge of their own body to implement the most effective treatment possible.   She is especially drawn to working with people who are recovering from or going through illnesses and injuries or suffering with chronic pain.  She also has much experience working with athletes for injury prevention and peak performance maintenance. Observing how massage has benefited her clients with problems such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, depression, high stress levels and cancer recovery, she has a constant renewal of respect for its healing possibilities. Whether you are ready to re-claim your body, recover from an injury, or if you are an athlete seeking to improve your performance, A Bodywork Center has a treatment that is right for you!
